Terms of Service — StreetCart

1. What StreetCart Is

StreetCart is a discovery and reservation platform. We help you find fashion products at nearby shops and reserve them for in-person pickup. We are not the seller of any product — shops listed on StreetCart are independent third parties.

2. Reservations, Not Purchases

• Reserving a product through StreetCart holds it for pickup at the listed shop for a limited 30-minute window.
• StreetCart does not process the sale — payment and final transaction happen directly between you and the shop at pickup, unless otherwise stated.
• If you do not collect a reserved item within the reservation window, the reservation may be cancelled and the item released back to the shop's inventory.

3. Product Accuracy — Shop Responsibility

• Product listings (images, descriptions, availability) are submitted by shop owners and processed using AI-assisted tools for extraction. StreetCart does not guarantee that listed items are accurately described, in stock, or as depicted.
• Shop operating hours are set entirely by the shop owners. StreetCart is not liable if a shop is closed, unavailable, or refuses service during its stated operating hours.
• Disputes about product condition, accuracy, or availability are between you and the shop. StreetCart will make reasonable efforts to remove or flag shops with a pattern of inaccurate listings, but is not liable for individual transaction outcomes.

4. Account & Access

• You access StreetCart via WhatsApp using your phone number and a magic-link login.
• You are responsible for keeping access to your registered WhatsApp number secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Make fraudulent or duplicate reservations to game shop inventory
• Attempt to extract, scrape, or misuse shop or platform data
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Shop Owner Terms

If you list products as a shop owner:

• You confirm you have the right to sell the listed products and that listings are accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You are responsible for honoring valid reservations made through the platform within the agreed pickup window
• StreetCart may remove listings or suspend shop accounts for repeated inaccuracies or user complaints

7. Limitation of Liability

StreetCart is provided on an "as-is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreetCart is not liable for:

• Losses arising from inaccurate shop listings
• Losses arising from a shop's failure to honor a reservation or being closed during stated operating hours
• Indirect or consequential damages arising from platform use

8. Intermediary Status (IT Act, 2000)

StreetCart operates strictly as an "Intermediary" under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We do not own, control, or take responsibility for the inventory, pricing, or actual sale of products listed by third-party shops.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to StreetCart for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
